Board Games - Friday 12.30pm-2.30pm
This relaxed activity group offers regular sessions of board games including Scrabble, Boggle, Chronology, Finish that Song. Playing board games stimulates brain areas that are responsible for memory formation and complex thought processes for all ages. And most importantly, playing games is a huge amount of fun!
Bolivia - Monday 10am-12pm and Thursday 10am-12pm
If you enjoy Canasta come and learn Bolivia, a more advanced version of Canasta played with 3 decks of cards. The game can be played in partnership groups or with just 2 players. The game is great for socialising. Experienced and novice players are welcome.
Chess - Monday 10am-12pm
Chess is believed to be derived from the Indian Chaturanga sometime before the 7th century and is a two-player strategy game. If you are a beginner or would like to play more often, join this like-minded people.
Darts - Monday 3.30pm-5.30pm
A social game of darks where people are put in teams and have the opportunity to hone their skills.
Indoor Carpet Bowls - Monday 12.20-3pm
If you like avoiding all weather conditions, join in and get bowling in the Hall. Players of all abilities very welcome.
Local Legacy Video Gaming - Tuesday 5pm-10pm
Compete against others in the ultimate fighting and platform games on the PS4. Improve you skills and learn the latest games. Plenty of consoles available to play on.
Mahjong - Friday 10.30am-12.30pm
The ancient Chinese game of mahjong is a tile-based game and commonly played by 4 players, and involves tactics, observation and memory. If you would like to learn or can already play, turn up and join this group.
500 Card Game - Tuesday 1pm-3pm and Thursday 10am-12pm
This card game is a trick-taking game that is an extension of Euchre with some ideas from bridge. For 2-6 players, it is usually played by 4 players in partnerships, but can be a fun 3-player game. New players are always welcome so come along and learn.
